Justine runs the LIAB tax team from her small Idaho hometown of Blackfoot these days, but she started as employee #1, the boss’s right-hand lady, and Lead Bookkeeper back in the days when we worked out of Liz’s kitchen in San Francisco. When she’s not deflecting jokes about potato farming or wrangling taxes, she’s wowing audiences with her impressive film-editing skills.

Beyond her accomplishments pursuing a degree in Accounting, who could we love more than a woman who has opened two small businesses in the US since moving here from Brazil? She brings a true understanding of what’s important to our clients, having been there herself. Eveliz seeps confidence in the office, in the kitchen where she loves to explore new cuisines, and hiking the East Bay with her dog and her 11 year old daughter.

Tenzin moved here three years ago from India, where she was born and raised. She worked at a non-profit; the Central Tibetan Administration, for 17 years doing books and generally keeping the office running!
Tenzin dreams to go back to school and nerd out even harder with more accounting credentials -she holds a masters in business taxation from the University of Mysore,India.
She loves hiking and can't wait to have a house with a big backyard where she can grow her own fruits and vegetables

Lakshmi hails from Mumbai, India – which is famous for street food – and women with a dry sense humor and a penchant for bookkeeping. If Lakshmi ever leaves the East Bay it will be to live in Hawaii on the beach with her husband. Incidentally, she holds advanced degrees in accounting from San Diego State University and was a volunteer for the IRS’s VITA program.

Ashley could possibly be the coolest person you’ve ever met. Ask her about her professional wrestling career, her event promotion company, her comic book collection, or her beautiful family. Ashley is sharp, passionate and really funny. We couldn’t be happier to have her on the team. Ashley calls Orange, CA her hometown but was a military brat, moved all over!

When’s she not behind the glow of a computer screen, this talented local actress can be found beneath the stage lights. While following her own artistic dreams, Monica seeks to help creatives become more financially literate. She resides in the San Francisco, Bay area.

Christina tried to leave the accounting field some years back to focus on her twin boys who are now 8 years old – but year after year couldn’t tear herself away from her deep love of tax prep. A jill-of-all trades, Christina has studied horticulture, floral design, ballet, and recently penned a short story that was published.

Logan is from Boring, Oregon and started doing her grandparents’ and parents’ books and inventories in the pre-computer accounting world and in the decades since has lived many different lives – as a photography small business owner, a manager for real estate development, a nightclub / hospitality industry bookkeeper and as a mom. Ada's a former cryptologist who relocated from sunny Southern California to Tampa, Florida to indulge her twin delights of bookkeeping and Big Sur camping trips. She lives with her spouse and their adopted gremlin Jiji, and when she isn't running tabletop games or scouring the Bay Area for fine cheeses she's usually found with a book in hand.

Helen is an accounting graduate who started her career in her home country of Eritrea. After immigrating to the U.S. from East Africa, she volunteered as a bookkeeper for Forgotten International and as a tax preparer for VITA while also working as a cashier.
When not working, she enjoys music and looks forward to learning the piano now that school is behind her and she's settling into her new country and career.

Melanie joins us from warm and wild Longwood, Florida. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida and has a diverse background in Accounting, IT, and Management.
Melanie loves challenges and puzzles, and using that passion in support of bookkeeping clients' growth.
In her spare time, she enjoys being out in nature, playing with her fur babies, and finding the best spot to grab something to eat.

Maggie joins the LIAB team from Duluth, GA originally from GuangDong, China with more than five years experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She loves numbers and math and continuing her education. Maggie holds multiple licenses and certifications for taxes, payroll, Quickbooks, accounting, and bookkeeping. She and her husband live in a quiet neighborhood where many cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles, and squirrels like to visit every day. When not crunching numbers, Maggie enjoys listening to music, watching TV, hiking, and traveling.

Now supporting LIAB clients from her home office in beautifully underrated Little Rock, Arkansas, AmyBeth was born and schooled all over Texas and has lived on all three coasts. An English/Psych major led to a wide assortment of careers before bookkeeping — from roofing to private investigation to film, event promo, retail management, a stint as a legal secretary, and more. Never a spare moment and never bored, she fills her time outside of the office creating handmade leather goods, restoring furniture.
